  1. The fashion for the last few decades has been to install “plot art” statuary in public parks and corporate lobbies. Very expensive bits of carefully twisted steel or thoughtfully chiseled stone lumps are softly lit in a bed of flowers or a placid pool or recirculating water. Political and religious iconography is just too much trouble.

  2. There’s a Daughters of the Golden West plaque up in the hills above Chatsworth Park. That may also be on the list….
